My boyfriend//babyDaddy left to visit his long lost grandmother in texas like last month... so he was 17, but he recently had his 18 bday there on the 13th of october.. and they want to send him back in plane, but he only has his birth certificate nd socail ... no ID... and he was trying to get his ID over there but they said he neeeded some transcripts papers or sumthing... I need help.. im wondering if i send him a school ID can he go to the plane with it or does he need like a california ID ?

Yes, you can travel domestically without ID, but they will question you and probably be searched.

You must have a picture ID to board a plane. If you don't have a drivers license they might accept a school ID, if it has a picture. Check with the airline you plan to fly before you buy a ticket.
