Go to Beauty college and barber colege in grand prairie . that where i get mine done

Many community/junior colleges throughout the country have cosmotology programs. I am sure the same is true in the Dallas area. Contact the community colleges in your area and look into that option. Programs run through a community college are usually more reliable and better than private "for profit" beauty colleges. Plus you can get grants if your income is low enough. AVOID LOANS!

4
Contact the state of Texas cosmetology board. They have information on the schools there and the requirements for graduation. Contact a couple of schools if there are more than one. Arrange for visit and talk to the counselors. They have advisers on staff that can help see what aid you are qualified for and help you get signed up and started. Good luck

If you are unemployed. The Texas Workforce Commission has a special program of re-training a person into a new career field if you and this new career choice meets the guidelines. Great program, you may want to seek counsel from them, and may choose a whole new choice. Either way, stick to your passion--Remember, if you can precieve it--you can achieve it! When there is a will, there is a way! You can do it. Good luck and do it NOW.

What is a good attack training school for dogs in the Dallas Texas area?

What is a good attack training school for dogs in the Dallas Texas area?
I have a puppy Doberman Pinscher, we're wanting to take her to attack school when she is old enough so she can be a trained guard dog. We don't want sissy or crappy schools, so can you suggest ones that you've heard of or had personal experience with in the Dallas Texas area? We want one that we don't ship her off, but are with her throughout training. Thanks in advance

I am wondering why you would do this to your dog? Most dogs will be good protectors of family and territory, so why make it mean..thats just plain dumb and it opens up a whole new area for people to sue you if they get hurt...its in some areas pre meditated.

2
Your dog is most likely NOT suited for protection work. Very few Dobes are, and by the looks of this question she hasn't been purchased from strong working lines. Get a real dog from someone that knows what they are doing if you want a guard dog.

3
I doubt any professional dog trainers who would train dog to do the work of a guard or protection dog would describe is as *attack training*. A guard dog should be professionally trained to do that type of work, needs a specific type of temperament/working characteristics & is typically used to patrol premises or homes with grounds. A personal protection dog on the other hand is trained to reliably protect its human pack/handler. The dog must be a suitable candidate to be professionally trained to do that type of job {which few Dobermanns are} & would then work under the control of its owner & on its own initiative. It's unlikely that you have a suitable Dobermann to be professionally trained to work as a PPD & although you may find a less than professional trainer willing to take your money, they might ruin your dog's temperament & leave you with a dog that is fearful of strangers. It is far more likely that you have a Dobermann that as an adult would be an effective watch dog & visual deterrent.

attack.....schools...there are better names than that. however having formerly lived in that area there use to be a rather impressive place that sold and trained dogs in Schutzhund, & bomb sniffing, i know a police officer i babysit for he has a GSD wasnt from working lines or anything but he did have some drive he took the dog their for training because if he was going to have a dog he wanted it trained right. this is not a soft school for bunny huggers. im not going to list it because im not sure if they even are still working, look up "protection k9 training dallas tx" on google

Unless you purchased your dog from strong working lines then she is not in all likelihood of suitable temperament for protection training. The vast majority of Dobermans no longer have the suitable temperament for this type of work. They are too soft, took weak nerved, to low drive or a combination of those. If she is from good working lines then your breeder should be able to refer you to an appropriate training location as they will be familiar with who does this type of training. Most people who want good working Dobermans have to go outside the country to get them (typically Russia as the European dogs have the same issues as the US dogs)

Is ATP(Airline Transport Professionals) in Dallas, Texas a good school ?

Is ATP(Airline Transport Professionals) in Dallas, Texas a good school ?
I'm looking for the best school to obtain all the certifications needed to become a commercial pilot within Dallas, Texas. ATP's website does not detail other finance options besides Sallie Mae, is there other options?

Join the military.

Sallie Mae is the government-backed student loan program. There are always other options but most will be more expensive. Keep in mind that you will have a substantial debt once you complete your flight training and that initial salaries are rather low as you build time for that job with the major airlines.

ATP has a reputation that is not all bad. They advertise that you will receive your certificates in 90 days, 120 days, or whatever. And you will. You will know exactly enough to pass your checkrides. No more and no less. After you finish you will be thrown out into the world to compete against people who have taken a more traditional route to getting their training and will have a greater level of exposure that you will. for instance: your cross country flights at ATP will involve flying from one ATP campus to another, to another. Ptobably to drop off airplanes that are due for scheduled maintenance and to bring its replacement back to your original campus. You will only see ATP's way, and you will only know what ATP thinks you should know. The graduates I have met frm ATP have gone on to have successful careers. They are ot a *bad* school, simply an insulated one. If you graduate from ATP and then go work for JoeBob's Flight School, you aren't going to know what to do. ATP does everything under IFR if possible, so if you plan on flying VFR someday, you'll be clueless for a while. As for financing, Sallie Mae can be expensive, but they aren't too bad. Look at Key Bank or call some local FBOs that give training and ask them if they do financing. Those are usually financed through large lenders who will loan money to students if they attend a certified "Part 141" school, and ATP is one of those so any financing that is available at FBOs will also be available at ATP.

depends on how far out of Dallas you want to live, the farther you can drive the better schools and communities get, going north shows the greatest growth , I live about an hour north of metroplex and I don't but I know worlds of people that commute from here and further out i really dont know any cheap apts that you would want to live in and if you are talking about building most new homes go for $60 to $80 a square foot and up find a realtor and do some research

I went to high school and live in Mesquite, which is about 30 minutes east of Dallas. There are five high school there, in my opinion all are good, but the two best are Poteet and Horn. You would probably be able to find a good apartment near Poteet too, because there are several apartment complexes right near by. But don't be disillusioned about Mesqutie. We're often looked down upon because we're not full of mcmansions, but it's a very nice area, really nice houses at a reasonable price, great schools (the elementary school in my neighborhood is a blue ribbon school), and not only that, the teachers in the schools care. So I reccomend it. Wishing you the best in your move!

If you're looking for a nice suburban area with a good school system, stay out of Dallas County. The schools are regularly featured on the news for having poor quality. Frisco, TX is a really nice area with lots of entertainment and the school system is one of the best in the state. I have included links for both the city and the school system below. Plus it's right up the tollway from Downtown Dallas with easy access to everywhere. Enjoy!

Trophy Club, Texas is about 45 min. from dallas. My aunt lives there and is awsome. Northwest high school is the local highschool and its pretty. trophyclub.org

it really depends on your definition of cheap but you may want to look into cedar hill or north dallas. a step up for you would be plano or arlington. there are some nice spots in irving and grand praire as well; it will boil down to your desire and location-convenience you prefer

You need to move to Frisco. There is no other suburb in the Dallas area with so much to offer than Frisco. This is a link to a apartment complex there, that I do business with. www.cypresslakeatstonebriar.com/ , Below I will list several links to get you familar with Frisco, Texas!

Try NE Tarrant County. Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake, Keller, Trophy Club are all very nice. The schools in this area are excellent. If you want apartments, you can also look in Bedford, Euless, or Hurst - also excellent towns for schools..
